My precious family.

Look how sweet my family is. We are happy, healthy and we love the Lord....does it get any better than this?

Tyler has learned how to pull up, not to his feet, but to his knees. So, today was "lower the crib day" at the Stockton house. Tyler was so cute trying to help daddy. I couldn't resist capturing this sweet moment.

Did you notice the new do? Here is another pic. Whatcha think?

A visit from "Uncle" Jared and "Aunt" Jill

Our good friends, Jared and Jill, came to Austin to visit this weekend. We got a late night visit when they got here Friday night and then we got to hang out all day Saturday. Saturday afternoon we meet them for lunch at Lambert's downtown. If you have never been there...you need to go. But get ready for the best "fancy barbeque?" on the planet. We went to Tyler's downtown to look for a frisbee (no luck) and let Tyler play in the mound of Bevo's. He was so adorable.

Then we went to Zilker park and Jared and Lamar threw the frisbee around like old times. If you look carefully, you will notice that their frisbee is pink and has a pretty little flower in the middle. Isn't that cute?

Jill and I hung out with Tyler trying to come up with ways to keep him cool. (That will explain the nakedness and wet hair.) He tried to wear "Uncle" Jared's hat but it was a little too big.

After a full day of adventure we headed home for some much needed R&R!
On Sunday, they came to church with us and enjoyed an amazing service...(good job baby!). We had to say goodbye, but don't worry...they will be back! Oh yes...they will be back!

In two weeks, something absolutely amazing is going to happen, and in 3 months, it will get even better. But the problem is...I can't tell you. I swore I wouldn't. But I can't wait to tell you guys. Let's just say, God totally answers prayers!!!!! AAAHHHHHHH

Back to life, back to reality.

Tyler has reached the ultimate milestone. He is now old enough to go to the nursery at 24 Hour Fitness. WooHoo! You know what that means? No more excuses. Lamar and I are getting back in shape and there is no stopping us now. Here are a couple of cute pictures of me and Tyler on our way to the gym last night. Can you tell we were excited?

Home Again Home Again Jiggity Jig!

Great news everybody! Lamar is finally home from his last camp. Yes, I said his LAST camp. Tyler was so excited to see him and so was I. Lamar said that the next time he goes to this camp, Tyler and I are going with him. He wasn't kidding either.

Tyler thought it was really funny when Lamar tried to fit him into his bag. He just laughed and laughed!
While Lamar was gone, Tyler reached some new milestones. First of all, Tyler is beginning to crawl. He has been army crawling for a while now, but he is up on all fours, rocking back and forth, getting ready for take off. ( I have a really cute video of this rocking procedure. If I can figure out how...then I will post it soon.)

Also, Tyler has begun using a sippy cup. Well, let me rephrase that. Tyler has begun "playing" with a sippy cup. As you can see from the picture, he hasn't quite mastered this skill yet.

Tyler has started taking baths in his tub now, without the sling. He sits up like a big boy, splashes around, and plays with his rubber duckies. It is so cute because he has so much fun. He just plays and laughs, and of course, we just watch and take pictures. I feel like the papparatzi.

All you moms out there...HELP!

I don't know what I am doing wrong, but Tyler doesn't nap! I'm not kidding. I can't get him to nap. I can lay him down asleep and he will wake up in 5 mintues ready to play. I have tried everything. I try putting him down drowsy but not asleep; I try putting him down completely asleep; I try rocking and singing him to sleep; I try feeding him to sleep; I try doing it at the same time everyday; I try waiting until he is totally exhausted; I even try letting him sleep in his swing.....but nothing. He just cries. Not for a few minutes, but until I go in there to get him. I have let him cry up to 45 mintues and still...NADA! Now granted, he still sleeps his 10-12 hours a night. He is still getting his rest and he is a happy, healthy baby boy , but no napping. So, I am seeking help from all moms out there. How do you get your child to nap? What are your tricks? Do some babies just not nap at 6 months of age? Or am I just a bad mom? HELP ME!! PLEASE!!!

What's buzzin' cousin?

We finally made our way to Broken Arrow Oklahom to meet our beautiful niece. We were worried about the long drive and the change in Tyler's schedule, but he is such a trooper. He did just fine on the 8 hour trip, and even better once we got there. It was so cute to see how he interacted with Drew. Basically, he just wanted to grab her hands and touch her face, but I know they were totally bonding. We were so excited to meet baby Drew and to spend some time with Topher and Leya. Drew was just as precious as we had imagined and Topher and Leya are learning how to cope with very little sleep. I loved being able to take care of them and give them advice. I know I have only been a mom for 6 months, but you know me....if you ask me...Im gonna give you my opinion. So we helped out as much as possible and really enjoyed our time with them. I can't wait to visit again!! Here are some pictures from our visit.

Drew has a very LOUD cry and it scared Tyler just a tad.

Sleeping Beauty.

Topher and Lamar with their babies...too precious.
