For those of you who don't know: Simon is living at PawPaw's (my dad's) house for a while. He wasn't working out too well as an apartment dog, so he had to go live on the farm for a while. After biting two neighbors and cutting his neck trying to climb through the patio bars so he could chase the squirrels, we decided he would be much happier with open fields to run in! We dropped him off last weekend and every morning Tyler walks into our bedroom, goes right to where Simon's cage was, and looks at us confused. It is a very sad thing! My boys miss their dog, and I'm not quite sure who misses Simon more, Lamar or Tyler. (And I have to admit, I miss him too! But don't tell Lamar.) We know he is very happy running free with the cows and horses, but I sure do miss the squeals of delight when Tyler and Simon would play together. As soon as we get a place with a yard, we will bring him back home. Hopefully that day will come sooner than later!
So....if anyone out there reading this blog is willing to give us a house with a yard, or the money to buy a house with a yard.... we will gladly accept it!
But until then, all we have are sweet memories and lots of pictures.
